Scope 3 Category 1

Lower your footprint where your ingredients grow.

Most of a food or apparel brand's emissions come from farms. We measure them at the field and help you cut them in your own supply chain.

Insetting At The Source

What you get

01

A calculated footprint per lot

Calculated with accepted GHG Protocol methods across cradle-to-farm-gate boundaries.

02

Supply-chain programmes

Fund better practices (less fertiliser, no residue burning, better water use) on the farms that supply you, and report the reduction against your own target.

03

One claim, one buyer

Every tonne is recorded in our claim register, so nothing is sold twice.

What we don't do

We don't sell carbon credits. Your reduction stays in your supply chain, which is what your target needs.

Pilots in Odisha

Lower-emission cotton, spices and specialty rice.

Questions & Answers

Frequently asked questions

Clear answers on lot footprint calculations, supply-chain programmes, and claim integrity.

How do you calculate the footprint per lot?
Each lot footprint is calculated across cradle-to-farm-gate boundaries using accepted Greenhouse Gas Protocol methods, combining field-level input records, soil data, and harvest yields from the mapped plots that produced your batch.
What does a supply-chain programme involve?
You fund practical agronomic changes on the partner farms that grow your ingredients—such as lower synthetic fertiliser use, no crop residue burning, and improved water management—and report the resulting emission reductions against your own supply-chain target.
Do you sell carbon credits?
No. We do not sell carbon credits or tradable offsets. Your emission reduction stays inside your own supply chain, which is what your procurement climate target requires.
How do you avoid double counting?
Every tonne and its associated climate claim is recorded in our internal claim register and assigned to a single buyer, so no reduction is ever claimed twice.
Which crops have programmes today?
Our current farm-level pilots in Odisha cover lower-emission cotton, spices, and specialty rice, and we can scope programmes for additional crops with our partner collectives.
