1. Who we are

This website (topcrop.in and trade.topcrop.in) is operated by Nudgetech Solutions Pvt. Ltd. (“TopCrop”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), registered in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, India. In the terminology of India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act 2023) and the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), Nudgetech Solutions Pvt. Ltd. acts as the Data Fiduciary / Data Controller for personal data collected through our sites. You can reach our privacy team at team@topcrop.in.

2. Data collected through forms

When you submit an enquiry, request specifications or a sample, apply as a supply partner, or submit an investor inquiry through our forms on topcrop.in or trade.topcrop.in, we collect the details you provide: your name, work email address, phone number, company or organisation name, destination country or district/state, product and volume requirements, and message content. Form submissions are stored securely in Supabase (our managed PostgreSQL database provider) with access restricted to authorised TopCrop personnel.

3. Analytics and cookies

We use Zoho PageSense to understand aggregate website traffic and page interactions. Zoho PageSense is loaded only with your explicit consent when you click “Accept” on our cookie banner. Your preference (accepted or rejected) is remembered in your browser's localStorage. If you reject or ignore the banner, no PageSense scripts or analytics cookies are loaded.

4. Purpose of processing

We process your personal data solely for the following purposes:

• Replying to your commercial, supply-partner, or investor enquiries and sharing requested specifications, lab reports, or sample offers;
• Managing pre-contractual discussions and ongoing B2B supply or partnership relationships;
• With your consent, measuring website usage and improving site performance via Zoho PageSense.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to third parties or use form submissions for unsolicited marketing lists.

5. Data retention

We retain personal data submitted through our enquiry and RFQ forms for 24 months from the date of our last interaction with you, after which it is deleted or anonymised, unless a longer retention period is required for an active commercial contract or to comply with applicable Indian tax, corporate, or legal obligations.

6. Your rights (India DPDP Act 2023 & EU/UK GDPR)

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act 2023 and, for visitors located in the European Economic Area (EEA) or the United Kingdom, the GDPR / UK GDPR, you have the right to:

• Access a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how it is processed;
• Correction and updating of inaccurate or incomplete personal data;
• Deletion (erasure) of your personal data where it is no longer necessary for the purpose for which it was collected;
• Withdrawal of consent at any time (for example, withdrawing analytics consent by clearing site storage or writing to us, or withdrawing consent for processing your enquiry).

To exercise any of these rights or raise a privacy grievance, email team@topcrop.in. Under the DPDP Act 2023, you also have the right to nominate another individual to exercise your rights in the event of death or incapacity, and to approach the Data Protection Board of India if a grievance is not resolved. EU/UK visitors may also lodge a complaint with their local data protection supervisory authority.

7. Cross-border data transfer

Because TopCrop operates from India and uses cloud infrastructure providers (including Supabase and Zoho), personal data submitted by visitors outside India—or stored on cloud servers outside your country of residence—may be transferred across borders. Where data is transferred internationally, we ensure appropriate contractual and technical safeguards (including standard contractual clauses where applicable under GDPR and compliance with notifications under the DPDP Act 2023) to protect your personal data.

8. Updates to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect operational or regulatory changes. The updated version will always be published at topcrop.in/privacy with a revised “Last updated” date.
